TOEIC in the workplace
POR RRHH Digital, 00:04 - 20 de Febrero del 2014

Many leading companies, academic institutions and language programs worldwide rely on the TOEIC Listening and Reading test as a fair, objective measure of English-language proficiency for students and business professionals.

TOEIC can help companies in many ways:

· Measuring the language competencies of candidates in recruitment processes.

· Certifying individuals for job promotions by setting TOEIC® scores for specific job profiles.

· Placing employees on overseas assignments evaluating whether he/she would be able to work abroad in an English speaking environment.

· Technical or professional training defining whether employees have a suitable level of English to join a specific training program.

· Evaluating employees progress in training programs by having them take the TOEIC® test at specified intervals, before and after the language course for example.

· Measuring the effectiveness of English language programs, using the TOEIC® test as an independent instrument to evaluate course efficiency.

· Setting a common standard of measurement throughout different corporate locations.
