The method by which job training is delivered depends on the needs of the company, the employee and the tasks being performed. An effective employee training can have a major impact on a company’s growth and profitability; therefore organizations must test any training method before making it a standard part of its Development Program.

The main types of employee training include hands-on training, self-study, Internet-based, group style and seminars. Training and development can be costly for an organization, therefore it is important to determine which is the most cost-effective and adequate method for teaching the employees the information and skills they truly need according to their job.
