How to Interview for a Job

DO:

–        Show enthusiasm

–        Arrive about 10 – 15 minutes early

–        Give a firm handshake

–        Ask for the job

DO NOT:

–        Eat or smoke during the interview

–        Criticize former employers

–        Wear sunglasses

–        Cover your mouth when you speak

Men Wear:

–        Navy or gray suits

–        Long-sleeved white or light blue shirts

–        Ties with small patterns

Women wear (or carry):

–        A gray or dark colored suit or dress with a jacket

–        A conservative white or pastel blouse

–        A briefcase

Men do not wear:

–        Beards

–        A lot of cologne, aftershave, hair spray, or gel

–        Jewelry other than a watch and a wedding ring

Women do not wear (or carry):

–        A purse

–        A lot of cologne, perfume, hair spray, mousse, or gel

–        Excessive jewelry other than a watch and a ring
