RRHH Digital Vocabulary: The Evolution of American English
•    it’s common knowledge (exp) – everyone knows
•    To be proud of (v) – to feel satisfied with something
•    buzzword (n) – an evolving vocabulary used in business
•    slang (n.) – colloquial or street language
•    creeping (v.) – to crawl along
•    command (v.) – to tell someone to do something
•    abbreviations (n.) – short terms used for longer words
•    adaptations (n.) – to change something into something else
•    colonists (n.) – people who come from one nation but invade and take control of another nation
•    diverse (adj.) – a big variety
•    agricultural (adj.) – to live off the land
•    emigrated (v.) – to leave your home country and live in another country
•    stoop (n). – the front steps of a house (in American English), also means to bend over
•    span (v.) – to spread across an area
•    coleslaw (n.) – a type of salad
•    boss (n.) – the person in charge of a business
•    bedpan (n.) – a utensil used for sick people who cannot get out of bed; they use it to go to the toilet
•    bedspread (n.) – a cover that goes on top of the bed
•    cookie (n.)  – a sweet biscuit
•    waffle (n.) – a type of toast eaten at breakfast
•    nitwit (n.) – an idiot     
•    dominance (n.) – to be important
•    prolific (adj.) – abundant
•    hijacking (v.)  – to take over something
