Modal Verbs

Modal Verbs are extremely common and are always used before the main verb to add; emphasis, possibility, impossibility, ability, doubt, necessity and advice.

Modal Verbs: CAN / CANNOT / CAN’T

Can you play any musical instruments?

•    Permission or requests

Can I use your car tonight, please?

No, you can`t I have to take someone to the airport.
